ASW has conducted hundreds of feasibility, management, and financial studies for new construction and retrofit projects, saving our clients millions of dollars. We provide our energy assessment and evaluation clients with usable management tools and clear, comprehesive reports that go beyond the scope of other consultants to ensure you see both the big picture and the fine details of your project. |

Energy Assessment and EvaluationASW has developed a systematic approach for energy efficiency assessment and evaluation. Our modern approach which has evolved after years of experience with these types of assessments provides the flexibility of a fast-track analysis. Fast-track analysis is most appropriate for retrofit projects and is far more economical than the often unnecessary "standard" assessment mandated by new construction projects. Of course, we also can conduct assessments in accordance with "standard" protocol when it's appropriate. Our approach lets us work with customers to determine which steps in the process are appropriate given a customer's circumstances and objectives. This means we can identify, evaluate, and implement cost-effective energy efficiency measures that will help you reduce the energy consumption in a facility without the time and costs associated with data collection and analysis that is not relevant to your specific situation.
As depicted above, there are many different types of energy assessments, and the ones selected depend on the particular situation and the needs of the building's management. They may be very simple Screening Audits, or as detailed and involved as an In-depth Feasibility Study. For some situations, it may make sense to move sequentially through the different assessments in a progression of information gathering and analysis. Or, if management has already made certain decisions, it may be reasonable to move directly to a specific type of assessment without any prerequisite steps. In other words, depending on the situation, it is possible to initiate any one of the assessments described here at any time. |
